Greg Freitag, CEO, CFO and Director
Mr. Freitag has been CEO, CFO and a Director of LecTec Corporation since June 2010. He is a J.D. and CPA having practiced corporate/securities law in Minnesota, has been COO & CFO of a public point of care diagnostic company and CEO of a biotechnology tools company start-up. Mr. Freitag has also worked for Guidant Corporation in their business development group and was Director, Business Development at Pfizer Health Solutions, a former subsidiary of Pfizer, Inc.  He is currently a principal of FreiMc, LLC. a consulting and advisory firm, CEO of EmployRx, a start-up focused on self-insured employers’ prescription drug benefit and a director of the HealthEast Care System Foundation and United Sources, LLC. Since graduating from the University of Chicago Law School, his entire career has, in one manner or another, involved business operations and transactions including: collaborations, finance, licensing, co-development, merger/acquisitions and business formation.

Daniel C. Sigg, MD, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer, Director
Dr. Sigg was elected to LecTec Corporation’s Board of Directors in November 2006 and became Chief Scientific Officer in January 2010, responsible for LecTec’s R&D efforts and IP portfolio. Dr. Sigg is a board-certified Swiss anesthesiologist with over 12 years experience in R&D, pre-clinical and clinical, regulatory, medical affairs and intellectual property development, and has led R&D projects in US, Europe and Asia. He is co-inventor of over 5 issued and 20 pending patent applications. Dr. Sigg obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Basel, Switzerland and his PhD degree in Integrative and Cellular Physiology from the University of Minnesota, and holds an appointment as adjunct assistant professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he teaches regularly.

Judd Berlin, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Berlin has been a director of LecTec Corporation since May 2003 and became Chairman in November 2006. Mr. Berlin was CEO and CFO of LecTec from November 2006 to May 2010. Mr. Berlin founded several business process outsourcing companies in Asia and also founded companies in Europe, the Middle East and Asia in food distribution, broadcasting and entertainment production. Mr. Berlin has an MBA from St.Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

C. Andrew Rollwagen, Director
Mr. Rollwagen has been a director of LecTec Corporation since January 2005. Mr. Rollwagen has more than 25 years experience in banking and finance. Mr. Rollwagen holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota and is the Senior Vice President of Business Banking at First State Bank and Trust, a locally owned community bank serving the greater St. Croix Valley area in Minnesota.

Sanford M. Brink, Director
Mr. Brink is currently the president of New Dimensions in Stone, an investment and real estate development company that Mr. Brink has owned for the past 15 years. Prior to his tenure at New Dimensions in Stone, Mr. Brink spent 15 years as a stockbroker specializing in the health care area. Mr. Brink has been an active investor and venture capitalist since the early 1960s.

Ramanathan Periakaruppan, Director
Mr. Periakaruppan retired to his native India in 2006 after completing a 37 year career in manufacturing, during which Mr. Periakaruppan developed an extensive background in product development, project management and process development. Mr. Periakaruppan worked in product development and project management at Boston Scientific Corporation from 2001 to 2006, in product development and project management at Honeywell International Inc. from 1987 to 2001, and in process development at Graco Inc. from 1968 to 1987. Mr. Periakaruppan earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Madras.
