Corporation Announces Letter of Intent With Johnson &
Johnson Consumer Products Company for Development of New
Skin Care Product
MINNETONKA, MN --
May 10, 1999 -- LecTec Corporation (Nasdaq National Market:
LECT) today announced the signing of a letter of intent with
Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company, a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:
JNJ), to develop a skin care product utilizing LecTec
Corporation's proprietary skin interface
technologies.
Johnson &
Johnson Consumer Products Company will conduct limited
efficacy and consumer studies to confirm the consumer
acceptance of the prototype product. Upon successful
completion of the studies, the satisfaction of certain
milestones defined by the letter of intent, and a final
decision to commercialize the product, LecTec Corporation
will begin to manufacture product for Johnson & Johnson
Consumer Products Company.
